If there’s one muscle group that truly distinguishes the boys from the men, it’s undoubtedly a big, strong back. Back development is the foundation of an amazing physique. It’s where physiques shine and where strength is built. I’ve seen men with huge arms and a big chest, but I’ve never seen a weak guy that had a big back. To build your back, you need to move heavy weights. I would advise to stay away from weird movements surrounding the cable rows and focus on banging out a few basic movements like shown below. Pulling heavy weight is the key to growth. Keep in mind, don’t be a dry humper and use way too much weight. There’s very little time under tension involved because all you’re really doing is “kipping” up the bar.
